- The EWBF, in cooperation with IBM, is implementing a project of “Green Energy Users Community”, which aims to support local communities in 3 regions (Marsa Alam in the Red Sea – Sayedna Al-Khader village in Fayoum – Al-Kharga area in the New Valley)
- The project aims to create a more flexible infrastructure and operations to provide solar energy technologies to these communities to overcome technical challenges or operation and maintenance work.
- Expanding the use of clean energy at an affordable cost and facilitating its use, especially in areas most vulnerable to environmental challenges. This is in line with the SDGs, “the seventh goal”.
- The project also aims to form a society that uses clean energy well, with the aim of the following:
- Addressing climate changes and adaption.
- New and renewable energy technologies.
- Economic empowerment and economic development
- Preserving natural resources
- Community awareness of the use of technological means and the importance of using clean energy
- The use of artificial intelligence in the promotion and preparation and processing of data
